The APC SUM1500RMXL2U Smart-UPS provides backup power to the connected equipment, in case of a power failure. Upon restoration of utility power, the UPS automatically starts the connected equipment. It protects your electrical equipment from spikes, surges, and lightings. The periodic battery self-test intimates you, in case the battery needs to be replaced. With intelligent charging, the battery life of the UPS is increased to a great extent. You can also manage the UPS via a serial port.
